This modernization project had the goal of providing safer, larger, accessible play areas for the children through the upgrade of
existing classrooms and landscape areas. 450 Architects directed a series of public meetings, soliciting input from parents,
teachers and children. Ultimately, two classroom buildings were relocated taking advantage of the ability to move the portable
structures to reorganize the site and create a safer atmosphere for children to play. One of the old concrete foundations was
recycled to create a sandbox.
