Oak Hill Day Care School

The new school facility is located on 4 wooded acres. The 1907 arts and crafts structure, originally the Col.
Livermore mansion, was completely upgraded including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, accessibility, parking,
and seismic strengthening. All the building improvements were sympathetically integrated into the original architecture.
The main residence will be the tutoring and administrative spaces and the carriage house will be the occupational therapy,
music/drama and art instructional spaces.
This new day care facility is for children with developmentally-based learning disabilities. The goal for the school is to enable
the children with special needs to discover and become their very best selves. The curriculum is tailored to each child’s strengths
and built around activities that are experiential, fun and meaningful for each child. Project-based learning will supplement one-on-one
tutoring and small group instruction.
