With a Green Building program already underway, the client wanted to
more comprehensively involve cities throughout San Mateo County in its
efforts. Impressed by 450 architects' green building consulting services,
the county hired our firm to describe, in writing, the benefits of
green building. The resulting Sustainable Building Checklist and Guidelines
outlines 75 areas of green design and construction that can benefit a
project and the environment along with strategies to achieve those goals.
Users include property owners and all those involved in the building
industry.
