Tank Hill Residence Renovations

As a couple’s children were leaving the nest, the parents desired to modernize and renovate their space for the next phase of their life. The kitchen, dining, and living rooms were all renovated and modernized. An oversized full bath and closet were reconfigured into an additional ensuite bath, a new powder room, and a smaller closet. The existing skylight was recentered in the kitchen and enlarged. The living spaces were unified by bringing the pyramid vaulted ceiling of the living room into the dining room and kitchen as well. Unforeseen dry rot issue in the roof above the kitchen and dining room, along with the skylight work, required a full replacement of the structure over that portion of the story. The majority of the home’s remaining finishes and fixtures were also replaced and upgraded.
